Our Founders
Welcome message from our Founder Saint Baffour
Welcome to the Milton Keynes Men Association (MK Men).
My name is Charlie Asamoah Baffour, and it is with deep pride and heartfelt appreciation that I welcome you to this community. MK Men was born from a simple yet powerful vision — to unite Ghanaian men living in and around Milton Keynes, and to build a supportive network grounded in brotherhood, cultural identity, and shared purpose.
When I first settled in Milton Keynes, I noticed how many Ghanaian men were working hard, raising families, and contributing to the community, yet often doing so in isolation. I believed strongly that we needed a space where we could come together, share experiences, support each other, and strengthen our cultural ties. With this conviction, I brought together a small group of committed men who shared the same passion for unity and community upliftment.
What began as a gathering of just a few has now grown into a thriving Association of more than 160 proud members. This growth reflects not only the strength of our community but also the power of coming together with a common goal.
Our purpose has always been clear:
To create a community where every Ghanaian man feels welcomed, valued, supported, and empowered to contribute positively — both to one another and to the wider Milton Keynes community.
Today, MK Men stands as a living testament to what can be achieved when unity, respect, and collaboration guide our actions. Together, we have built a place where cultural heritage is celebrated, challenges are shared, friendships are formed, and contributions to the community are meaningful and lasting.
I am humbled by what we have accomplished so far and inspired by what we will continue to build in the years ahead. Thank you for being part of this vision and for helping strengthen the foundation of our community.
Welcome once again — together, we stand stronger.
